Founder Jim Rike has dedicated his career to serving the trucking industry. Rike began his career in the heavy-duty truck industry in the mid-eighties, immediately following his vocational education, as a heavy wreck mechanic at Ryder Service Center. From Ryder, Rike went on to work for Central Indiana Mack where he served as a service technician. In 2001, Rike joined Palmer Trucks and quickly established a highly respected presence in the vocational market, and later on in the natural gas vehicle industry. During his time with Palmer, he played an intricate roll in the development and partnership between Palmer and Trilogy Engineer Systems. He also established a partnership with AFV International and went on to help develop and provide a fuel system inspector certification training course for the Kenworth Dealer Network. In 2015, Rike joined Worthington Industries Alternative Fuels and was instrumental in their acquisition of Trilogy Engineered Systems. Rike also played a key role in streamlining processes in the production facility and contributed to the development of multiple product designs during his time with Worthington. In 2019, Rike set out to establish his own company, Rikeology LLC, utilizing his long-standing relationships and connections primarily within the natural gas vehicle industry.
Natalie Rike-Blomberg joined the team in the spring of 2021 in an effort to better meet the needs of Rikeology customers. Natalie began her career at Palmer Trucks in 2003 working alongside her father Jim Rike. She spent over 18 years with the Palmer group on the vocational equipment installation side, working as an administrative professional and eventually becoming the assistant department manager.
